Paramedic/ Firefighter

 Under limited supervision, supervises firefighters on an assigned shift in responding to emergency medical calls. Assists the Fire Chief of Operations with various emergency medical functions. Duties include responding to fire/rescue/medical emergency calls for saving/protecting life and property, driving/operating county emergency vehicles providing advanced life support to sick/injured persons, coordinating training activities, and coordinating maintenance of emergency medical equipment. Reports to the Captain and/or Battalion Chief for day-to-day operations. Reports to the EMS Lieutenant and/or the Fire Chief of Operations for Emergency Medical Policies or Protocols-related events.
