EMT Field Supervisor (Full time) - Paulding, GA

Company Overview:

Patriot Emergency Medical Services is a dynamic and growing ambulance agency committed to delivering top-tier care and service to our communities. We are looking for an experienced, motivated EMT Field Supervisor to join our Operations team and provide leadership, guidance, and support to our field personnel.

Position Summary:

The EMT Field Supervisor plays a vital role in supporting the Operations Supervisor by ensuring high standards of care and operational efficiency. This position involves overseeing daily tasks, training personnel, performing audits, and acting as a liaison between the company and external agencies.

Key Responsibilities:

- Oversee task performance of assigned personnel, providing feedback and corrections as needed.

- Conduct audits and inspections, including vehicle checks, equipment inventory, and report reviews.

- Mentor, train, and evaluate staff performance, offering both formal and informal feedback.

- Represent Patriot EMS at external events, agencies, and facility meetings.

- Attend and contribute to operations meetings.

- Deliver high-quality patient care and customer service.

- Assist with station and shift duties, supporting day-to-day operations.

- Participate in the orientation and continuing education of staff.

- Work at least two full shifts per month in the field to stay current with field operations and maintain skills.

- Perform other duties as assigned by senior leadership.

Qualifications

- Minimum of 12 months of active experience as a prehospital provider.

- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

- Familiarity with local, state, and federal EMS regulations.

- Ability to counsel, teach, and motivate team members.

- Flexibility with work schedules and the ability to adapt to changing priorities.

- Knowledge of company policies and ability to interpret them for staff.
